Think about it?

1.] It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

2.] A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.

3.] The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

4.] It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

5.] It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

6.] Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.

7.] Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

8.] Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.

9.] A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; a timely word may level stress; a loving word may heal and bless.

10.] The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

11.] Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

So different yet so Alike...

I just love these pictures,if you look closely you can see how much they love and care for each other no matter how different they are but in their hearts they are the same...they are in same directions and one goal,to love and protect each other.Isn't it great?Just to forget our differences and be in harmony?Wish people are just like them.To accept someone without expectation but....we are human and that is our nature,I guess we have to look around and learn what we are about to see.

Be Thankful for All the Blessings

In this busy world and with the very lifestyle we have,we tend to forget all the good things that happen in our lives,I guess this the best time for us and look back about good things that we received this past months. We all know that Thanksgiving Day is around the corner,it is not just about the turkey and pumpkin pie but thanking the Lord for all the blessings that He gave us. I would like to say thank you to Hazel for tagging me.This one serves as reminder for me that God has been so good to me through the years.I pray to the Lord to continue to give His blessings to us. Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire, If you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful when you don't know something. For it gives you the opportunity to learn. Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow. Be thankful for your limitations. Because they give you opportunities for improvement. Be thankful for each new challenge. Because it will build your strength and character. Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful when you're tired and weary. Because it means you've made a difference. GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings. I want to share this to all my friends here.Feel free to grab it if you have time.Anyway,we can say thank you to Him anytime.

The Ants and the Contact Lens..a true st0ry

A true story, Brenda Foltz was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens. "Great", she thought. "Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry." She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn't there. She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying. She prayed for calm, and she prayed that she may find her contact lens. When she got to the top, a friend examined her eye and her clothing for the lens, but it was not to be found. Although she was calm now that she was at the top, she was saddened because she could not clearly see across the range of mountains. She thought of the bible verse "The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth." She thought, "Lord, You can see all these mountains. You know every stone and leaf, and You know exactly where my contact lens is. Please help me." Later, when they had hiked down the trail to the bottom of the cliff they met another party of climbers just starting up the face of the cliff. One of them shouted out, "Hey, you guys! Anybody lose a contact lens?" Well, that would be startling enough, but you know why the climber saw it? An ant was moving slowly across a twig on the face of the rock, carrying it! The story doesn't end there. Brenda's father is a cartoonist. When she told him the incredible story of the ant, the prayer, and the contact lens, he drew a cartoon of an ant lugging that contact lens with the caption, "Lord, I don't know why You want me to carry this thing. I can't eat it, and it's awfully heavy. But if this is what You want me to do, I'll carry it for You." I think it would do all of us some good to say, "God, I don't know why You want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it and it's awfully heavy. But, if You want me to carry it, I will." God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
