Last night I was so restless about how my haircut gonna turn-out,and today is the day, to find-out the result....WEll,i do love it...I didn't cut it really short,Jessica, the hairstylish told me not to cut it too short for the reason that longer locks suits me and I believe her.
She colored my hair, from black to brunette,I was worried that it will came out reddish or orange but it came out pretty good, like a natural color that matches my skintone.I was there for 2 hours, from coloring, trimming and waxing my eyebrows, today is my day=)..

Just being a Girl
I am still awake and it is past midnight.Tomorrow is my haircut and I am not sure if I am excited or having a second thought.I really wanted to grow my hair longer but it never happen and maybe never will be.I promise to myself that I will not look at the hairstyle magazine so I won't change my mind.
Last year I cut off my hair really short during winter time,it was a lesson for me.So tomorrow is the day, hopefully it will turn out good so that I will feel beautiful and happy. We women, loves our hair so much,it is part of our life and having a bad hair day is really disappointing. So wish me luck=).
I am saying sayonara to my shoulder lenght hair,it will grow back before i know it.

$1,999 Motorola Cellphone...want one?
Motorola, still searching for its next RAZR-sized hit, announces the Aura, a new luxury mobile phone geared specifically for those with high-end tastes and even higher-end salaries.
Set for a December 4 release, the Aura, which carries a hefty $1,999, resurrects the sexy swivel design from Motorola's classic v70 and v80 handsets and combines it with a Rolex-like manufacturing process.
So, what exactly does two grand get you? A 16 million color, fully-circular LCD display (first ever in a cell phone, according to Motorola), a 62 Carat lens crafted out of sapphire for scratch resistance, a stainless steel exterior with etched designs that takes two weeks to fabricate, a Swiss-manufactured bearing for the swivel, 700+ individual components, PVD coating (similar to high-end watches), and an all aluminum keypad.
As for the tech specs, its not bad, but not anything special, either: Quad-band GSM/EDGE (No 3G), 2-megapixel camera, MPEG-4 video playback, MP3 and WMA decoding, Stereo Bluetooth, 2GB of internal storage, and an 810mAh battery.
There's no doubt about it: The Aura looks slick, sexy, and expensive, but the short tech features combined with the high price makes this a fit for only those waiting for their private jets to be refueled.

Persimmon anyone?
For centuries Japan and China have been growing the Oriental or Japanese persimmon. It is probably native to China, since it was introduced to Japan from that country. The Japanese consider it their national fruit but it is more properly called Oriental rather than Japanese persimmon, since it is not native to Japan. Commodore Perry's expedition, which opened Japan to world commerce in 1852, is credited with the introduction of this fruit to the United States.
The persimmon that is native to the United States grows wild in the East from Connecticut to Florida, and in the West from Texas to Kansas. This persimmon is much smaller than the Oriental, but has richer flesh. The wild fruit grows in sufficient abundance to satisfy local demand, and little or no shipping is done.
In general, persimmons that have dark-colored flesh are always sweet and nonastringent and may be eaten before they become too soft. Varieties with light-colored flesh, with the exception of the Fuyu variety, are astringent until they soften. The astringency is due to the presence of a large amount of tannin, the same substance found in tea. As the fruit ripens and sweetens the tannin disappears. Ripening can take place just as well off the tree as on.
The season for persimmons is October through December, and the peak month is November. Almost all commercial shipments originate in California. The Hachiya is the latgest and handsomest oriental variety grown in this country. As a rule, California produces a seedless variety, but the Hachiya grown in Florida has one or more seeds. The Hachiya fruit is cone-shaped and terminates in a black point. The skin is a glossy, deep, orange-red and the flesh is deep yellow, astringent until soft, but sweet and rich when ripe. The Tanenashi is the more important variety in the southeastern states. There are many other varieties that are grown commercially.
Good quality fruit is well-shaped, plump, smooth, and highly colored. The skin is unbroken and the stem cap is attached. Ripeness is usually indicated by softness.
Benefits of Persimmon
When thoroughly ripe, persimmons are a rich source of fruit sugar. Dried persimmons are almost as sweet as candy. They are rich in potassium, magnesium, and phosphorus, and are good to use in a soft diet.

Embracing Life...no matter how hard.

MyNiceSpace.com
This past few days I am in big turmoil,it feels like I carry the weight of the world in my shoulder. It is hard to please everyone especially if that person plays a very essential part in your life.
I just wish that they will realize one day that I am my own me,I made mistake, stumble yet I learned.I want to find-out what is out there, broaden my horizon and embrace any possiblities that will come around.I am tired of being treated like a kid. They must realize that they will not be here forever to guide me.I have to embrace life ,no matter how hard it will be.
I don't wanna end up wondering what might have been or could have been if I follow what I wanted to happen for myself,I appreciate all the concerned but sometimes I need to breath, need to have my own space, and take control of mylife.I am a capable individual, please, just let me be.

Second Chance..
Since you been gone I feel my life slipping away I look to the sky And everything is turnin' gray All I made was one mistake How much more will I have to pay Why can't you think it over Why can't you forget about the past Chorus: When love makes this sound babe A heart needs a second chance Don't put me down babe Can't you see I love you Since you been gone I've been in a trance This heart needs a second chance Don't say it's over I just can't say goodbye So this is love Standing in the pouring rain I fooled on you But she never meant a thing And I know I ain't got no right To ask you to sympathize But why can't you think it over Why can't you forget the past Chorus I never loved her I never needed her She was willing and that's all there is to say Don't forsake me Please don't leave me now A heart needs a second chance You've been gone, and I've been in a trance This heart needs a second chance Don't say it's over I just can't say goodbye Please forgive me and forget it Why can't we talk it over Why can't you forget about, forget the past (A heart needs a second chance...) When love makes it sound bad (My heart needs a second chance...) Don't put me down, babe You've been gone, and I've been in a trance This heart needs a second chance Don't say it's over I just can't say goodbye (A heart needs a second chance...) When love makes it sound bad (My heart needs a second chance...) Don't put me down, babe..... AN OLD FLAME SENT ME THIS SONG.....too bad it is too LATE.where was he when all I did was hoping that he'll came back.

LAsik Eye Surgery
Yesterday Migs had his Lasik eye surgery, before he left he told me that he is really excited to get rid of his eye glasses. He is been wearing his genius looking eyeglasses when he was 9 yrs old and now he is 21,a young man with a 10 yr old heart.I mean he is such a good and a very fine young man. when he arrived from the surgery,I can't help but giggle because he looked like a big tumble bee with his huge goggles,he can barely see and after 2 hrs he was in excruciating pain.He asked me for his pain medicine but it didn't help,so I called up his dad to prescribed higher dose,he was screaming and said he regrets the procedure.I feel sorry for him cause he had so many eyedrops every 15 mins or so,and if he scratches his eyes he might get blind totally. What really caught my attention is the goggles,he looks like Kanye West, while I am typing this,i can't help but smile, sorry Migs, don't mean to but it looks funny to me. Anyway LASIK stands for Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis and is a procedure that permanently changes the shape of the cornea, the clear covering of the front of the eye, using an excimer laser. A mechanical microkeratome (a blade device) or a laser keratome (a laser device) is used to cut a flap in the cornea. A hinge is left at one end of this flap. The flap is folded back revealing the stroma, the middlesection of the cornea. Pulses from a computer-controlled laser vaporize a portion of the stroma and the flap is replaced. There are other techniques and many new terms related to LASIK that you may hear about. This morning he took off the funny goggles and told me that he feels much better and can tolerate the light compare yesterday.I said that's how it is little boy,No pain,No gain.

coffee DreamiNg:)
I started drinking coffee when I was in my junior high,At first,I don't really like the taste of it and to make the bitterness disappear I'd put lots of sugar so it won't taste like coffee at all.
When I went to Tanauan Batangas for a summer vacation,my cousins love to drink coffee and there I started to love coffee.Their coffee has a distinctive smell and taste, the aroma is like someone is waking you up with a very sweet smile in his/her face. From then,I know coffee would be part of my life not just for that time but for as long as I live.
Now,my day won't be complete with-out a cup of coffee or two,but I tell you I haven't tasted anything like what I had way back when I was in Batangas,I have been looking and dreaming for it,it would be very nice to sip it especially now that the cold weather finally sets in.

It is a new World..out tHere..
Ok you might wonder what the heck I will talk about, last night me and my lil cuz cuz Kat,had a huge fighta s her mom called it,imagine she is only 8 yrs old and a 3rd grader asked me to help her with her project.Iwas so tired from work and all that I am dealing with at work and her she is bugging me to do her school project.
The very reason why I don't want to help her is because her project is cooking/baking something. As I read the guidelines,I was appaled because how can a 3rd grader can do such thing. And I was refusing in a meanest face I can gave to her but she won't stop following and begging,so of course I ended up helping her.
I am just suprised cause when I was in 3rd grade, ages ago,I can't even remember we did such thing as cooking or baking,I remembered vividly we had like a girlscout thing but the higher grade were the one in-charge for that dangerous stuff and now as young as 8 yrs ol they already have cooking/baking class. Why can't a kid be a kid for awhile? They grow up so fast now adays why they have to learn that in their very tender age?
It is really a new world out there, and it scares me.Everything right now is in haste, full of pressure and caught up in the middle of everyhing that is goin on around us.I am just glad that I came here ready and able to stand with my own two feet. And below is the finished product of Kats project and she gave me a tight hug.A good reward for me.

Out of my comfOrt Zone
Baking is not really my thing, you can make me cook everyday, clean up the house or do the laundry and ironing, just don't let me bake. But lastnight,I really tried to make an effort to bake something,so I decided to make the Pineapple Upside Down and at the same time bake the chocolate-coconut bars.I had having difficulty but I took a deep breath and said to myself that I can do this...So here are my finished products:

quotes about LIFE..
I saw these quotes online and I think it is worth sharing with you here, hope you take time to read, for sure you learn something.
" You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have really lived are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love."
"Most people go on living their everyday life: half frightened, half indifferent, they behold the ghostly tragi-comedy that is being performed on the international stage before the eyes and ears of the world."
Albert Einstein
"If you wouldst live long, live well; for folly and wickedness shorten life."
Benjamin Franklin
Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards."
Kahlil Gibran
"If I were to begin life again, I should want it as it was. I would only open my eyes a little bit more."
Jules Renard
"It is not what we get. But who we become, what we contribute...that gives meaning to our lives."
Anthony Robbins
"We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give."
Winston Churchill
A life without love, without the presence of the beloved, is nothing but a mere magic-latern show. We draw out slide after slide, swiftly tiring of each, and pushing it back to make haste for the next."
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
"There are moments in life, when the heart is so full of emotion That if by chance it be shaken, or into its depths like a pebble Drops some careless word, it overflows, and its secret, Spilt on the ground like water, can never be gathered together."
Henry Wordsworth Longfellow
"You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land, this is no other life but this."
Henry David Thoreau
"Why should we live with such hurry and waste of life? We are determined to be starved before we are hungry. Men say that a stitch in time saves nine, and so they take a thousand stitiches today to save nine tomorrow."
Henry David Thoreau
"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."
Martin Luther King
"Be glad of life because it gives you the chance to love and to work and to play and to look up at the stars."

My Dogs,Love of mylife
I know to most or some of you might find it weird, strange or over-acting but what if I tell you that I would rather stay at home and be with my dogs? What will your reaction gonna be?Laugh?Raise your eyebRow?
I have been a dog lover since I was very small, when I was 4 yrs old,I had my very first puppy given by our neighbor, the puppy didn't stay long with us for the reason I can't remember anymore.Growing up,I have always this desire to have my own dog,to sleep with me and play with but my family can't afford to have an expensive dogs,I remember my mom saying, why we will buy an expensive puppy?,it is just a waste of money and time.Instead of buying a puppy why we don't don't buy rice or the neccessary things that we need.So i never asked again.
To make the story short,I never really let go of wishing and dreaming to have a very pretty dog. Now,I don't have just one dog but four. The golden Retrievers are my first dogs when I arrived in Ca,A gift for making up my mind to come over here.Three years later,I got my dream dog,a toy poodle and I named her Roxy. She slept beside me and a very smart,high-tempred and opinionated puppy,Roxy is 4yrs old now.She is like my daughter and so dependent on me.Last 2007,Feb 3 to be exact.I got Tito a shih tzu, well he is very loving,so sweet and a playful one.For me they are part of my life not as my pets but family.
They gave so much joy and happiness to me personally, without them,i don't know how my life turned-out.I don't like to party and don't like clubbing,I don't date that much as well so they are pivot part in my daily life.

It is Raining and BoRing
Aunt asked me to skip from work today to take care of Kat cause she has a fever and complained that her throat hurts that she can't eat that much( hallelujah).Aunt told me that she gonna pay me triple of what I earn for the day,not bad at all,I can stay at home, read my book and be with my dogs and of course attend Kats demand whatever it is.She just asked me to make her pancake and I did,we ate together and then gave her meds and she went back to bed. I cleaned up our filthy table, feed the dogs, vaccum the living room and washed all the dishes. In few hours marching back and forth in our house,i am exhausted.I called my friend and told her about my day,she said ..you are biitching again and we had a good laughed about it.We talked from dancing with the stars show, the debate last night and of course our favorite topic of all time....LOVELIFE....she was bitching about her live-in partner, from his being "burara" and all.I told her you keep on complaining but you picked every dirt he left, and I added ,if that makes you mad as you claimed then quit doing it.I have my point right? So much for that I have to make arrozcaldo for Kat now, after I am done rambling here,I will facing the kitchen again which I thought I wont be cooking for the rest of the year but I am wrong.Anyway,it is just arrozcaldo and only for the little one so I will oblige. Have a great day everyone...don't forget your umbrella for it is raining outside...and kinda boring too.Cia0!!!!

Road rules/Real World " the Island"
I am an avid fan of this show, since i can't watch it during their original airtime,I am just glad to watch it in reruns. This is really a tough competition, sort of like "The Survivor",but this show is full of characters,if you are weak you are not for this competition. The casts are mean, very rude and opinionated. They will eat you alive. What is really funny when one of the contestant/contender said that they have no strenght because they have been eating rice and fish it made me laugh so hard.In my country, having rice and fish is a great blessing. It is more than enough to give us fuel and strenght to go on for the whole day. I wonder who will be send home next week, most of the guys are are such a whiner,selfish...this is DOG eat Dog show..so goodluck to them....and thanks for entertaining us.

Baking Soda's Benefits
star ingredient that plays a multiple role in millennial toothpastes is baking soda—a dental grade of the very same nontoxic, nonscratching, all-natural powder that is used as a gentle but effective grease-and-dirt-dissolving household cleaner and deodorizer, as an antacid—and, because of its aerating abilities—for dough leavening, too. Made from soda ash, sodium bicarbonate (as baking soda is also known) has a mild alkalinity; it helps living things maintain a healthy pH balance. Baking soda is a consummate oral care ingredient, says Ernest Newbrun, DMD, PhD, professor emeritus of oral biology and periodontology at the University of California at San Francisco. He cites its safety, its gentle buffering powers, and its compatibility with fluoride.
Here are the specific virtues of baking soda in toothpaste:
• The Fresh Factor. Baking soda has an honest, sparkling-clean taste that comes not via any extra-added flavoring ingredient, like mint or fruit essence, but is built in. Once you’ve tried the taste of baking soda, chances are you’ll be hooked for life. What’s more, using a baking soda toothpaste will reinforce the specific clean-scrubbed sensation of the big-blast baking-soda–prophy phase some dental offices offer as a part of the professional cleaning procedure. For the many connoisseurs who love and crave that inimical spray of baking soda onto the teeth and gums (and sometimes eyelids), baking soda tooth-paste is an easy way of achieving a taste of it at home.
• The Clean Factor. Recent studies indicate that baking soda in high concentrations (as are found in most Arm & Hammer toothpastes, www.myoralcare.com) is better able than other cleaning agents to break down into tiny particles that penetrate enamel crevices and remove food particles and deep stains.
• The Gentle Factor. Baking soda is less abrasive than virtually any other cleaning agent used in toothpastes. That means less wear and tear on the teeth. Unlike other buffing agents, baking soda is a soft mineral that is also water-soluble, so it provides effective cleaning with low abrasion—despite its slightly “gritty” feel.
• The Breath Factor. Baking soda aids in controlling the bacteria that produce the volatile sulfur compounds known to cause bad breath. Regular use of baking soda in oral hygiene creates a chemically altered environment in the mouth that discourages sticky plaque and odor-causing germs.

it is getting cOLd
I can't believed how fast the days past by,it seems like yesterday we were in the pool enjoying the summer and the warm feeling that it gave,I woke up this morning and boy,it was cold.I thought that our A/C was on but when I checked it was off. What I really hate about it is that it will give me a severe occassional allergies again=(,eventhough I am taking my allergy med regularly still it am not prepared to have one again.I hate the feeling of sneezing out of nowhere and it seems that something is tickling my nose, and the runny nose ohhh...unbearable. I don't like the idea of being fully covered again and wearing tons of layers of apparels,it feels uncomfortable plus I have to wear those thermal pants and longsleesves again. What I hate the most is the snow,at first I do love them but the longer I stayed here in Ky,don't appreciate it anymore,it is hard for me to put my dogs out especially the small ones. I heard from my co-worker that maybe this winter is worst than last year.Meaning more snows, more shoveling and less fun....I can't wait to be summer again...where the sun shine brightly on me.

Happy Thought
This should probably be taped to your bathroom mirror where one could read it everyday. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true 1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for. 2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way. 3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you. 4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you. 5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep. 6. You mean the world to someone. 7. You are special and unique. 8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you. 9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it. 10. When you think the world has turned its back on you take another look. 11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.

It is October...
First day of the month, and I start hearing Christmas songs playing on the radio,How fast time flies,it seems like just yesterday I was still a kid enjoying the spirit of yuletide season.I been away with my family long enough.I can say I like it cause I became more independent and I found out my capabalities as an individual, but sometimes I do miss those days where I can sleep all day and not to worry a single bill to pay,as long as there is a simple food in the table life was good for me then. But now, life seems more complicated and I know that it takes a lot of hardwork to achieve whatever we want. Before we know it,it is christmas day, personally,I am not that excited as used to be.People here don't really celebrate it the way we did back home.It seems that everyone is in the happy mood,no matter how hard life is. I just hope and wish the same thing, good health, happy life, positive outlook and maybe someone to love dearly...I mean someone I can be with physically,I am over with the long-distance relationship saga and no out of blue sudden marriage proposal,it freaks me out!
