Banana.......Read and be Amaze..

After Reading THIS, you'll NEVER look at a banana in the same way again! Bananas, containing three natural sugars -- sucrose, fructose and glucose, combined with fiber, give an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes. But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.. Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the b ody converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier. PMS: Forget the pills -- eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood. Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia. Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it the perfect way to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke. Brain Power: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert. Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives. Hangovers: One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system. Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief. Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness. Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation. Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system. Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and chips. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady. Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach. Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a "cooling" fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand, for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan. Smoking: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal. Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack. Strokes: According to research in "The New England Journal of Medicine," eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%! So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrates, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around. So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, "A banana a day keeps the doctor away!"

Life is really great with a friend Like You

I have been in here in USA for 7 years and I have celebrated and will celebrate my 7th thanksgiving day too but would you believe if I will tell you that this is my very first time that someone really sent me a Thankgiving Card?I know,it sounds weird and maybe for you,you will say what is the big deal about it? I just feel happy that someone remembered me and wished me well, the funny thing is I haven't meet or see this person and yet she really took time to reached out and letting me know that she cared and that she is my friend.Am I lucky or what?Or maybe I just over reacted with her kindness towards me.Now I know why she is loved with our other online friends because of her thoughtfulness and kindness,to me she captured my attention through her scrutiny and being such a biatch =). Hazel i owe you a lot now, someday we will meet for sure,if not here in the foreign land, hopefully in our homeland. Why we haven't met before?Tell why?well,it doesn't really matter right?we are friends now and I am happy with that.Love yah and thank you so much! Sorry if I haven't send you anything, you know I am not that good when it comes to this but it doesn't mean that I don't think about you and I do wish all the happiness that you deserve and you know that.

Be Thankful for All the Blessings

In this busy world and with the very lifestyle we have,we tend to forget all the good things that happen in our lives,I guess this the best time for us and look back about good things that we received this past months. We all know that Thanksgiving Day is around the corner,it is not just about the turkey and pumpkin pie but thanking the Lord for all the blessings that He gave us. I would like to say thank you to Hazel for tagging me.This one serves as reminder for me that God has been so good to me through the years.I pray to the Lord to continue to give His blessings to us. Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire, If you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful when you don't know something. For it gives you the opportunity to learn. Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow. Be thankful for your limitations. Because they give you opportunities for improvement. Be thankful for each new challenge. Because it will build your strength and character. Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful when you're tired and weary. Because it means you've made a difference. GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings. I want to share this to all my friends here.Feel free to grab it if you have time.Anyway,we can say thank you to Him anytime.

No Excuses

(my heaviest weight) (my lastest picture with ponytailed hair) I have been an avid fan of exercise since I have my first Dvd work-out,I got it as a gift from a friend.I practised and mastered it by heart. As the days turns into weeks and weeks turns into months,I got bored with it.I didn't really stop but I exercise not that often anymore. Then last summer I stopped, since we had our above the ground pool,I swam almost everday but I got so dark-skinned and got scared that I might have a skin cancer at the end. After all the vacations we had,I gained some lbs and my favorite jeans won't fit me anymore.I sort out all my stuff and sale what won't fit me anymore.I decided to buy a bigger size and be contented with my body.Last September I was awaken by this sight,I took a shower and saw my protuding belly and I made a vow to do something about it.I started running in the treadmill again, eat by portion control and sometimes starve myself,I know what I was doin was wrong. One day my friend told me to eat breakfast regularly and I did,the result was amazing,I am not that hungry during lunch time and I am not craving as I used too. I know I will never be size 0 but all I want is feel good,I started doing the right stuff last October and so far I loose some lbs.I can wear my favorite jeans again and I am back to size S but I prefer M to be more comfortable.I got a DVD work-out again, and they are really different from the one I have.I love to dance so the HipHop Abs helps me alot not to be bored with it.The kickboxing gives me hardtime cause it composes of different levels and it is challenging. From now on,there is no excuses why I won't be fit even I am just inside the house.Eating right and regular exercise,I bet I will have more energy to chase my dogs.I will be happy to be in size 4,besides I will not be skin and bone cause I got some curves that I love.I just wanna feel good and not to feel awkward when summertime is here again. Note:the photos above with same shirt is the before and after.

The Ants and the Contact Lens..a true st0ry

A true story, Brenda Foltz was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens. "Great", she thought. "Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry." She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn't there. She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying. She prayed for calm, and she prayed that she may find her contact lens. When she got to the top, a friend examined her eye and her clothing for the lens, but it was not to be found. Although she was calm now that she was at the top, she was saddened because she could not clearly see across the range of mountains. She thought of the bible verse "The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth." She thought, "Lord, You can see all these mountains. You know every stone and leaf, and You know exactly where my contact lens is. Please help me." Later, when they had hiked down the trail to the bottom of the cliff they met another party of climbers just starting up the face of the cliff. One of them shouted out, "Hey, you guys! Anybody lose a contact lens?" Well, that would be startling enough, but you know why the climber saw it? An ant was moving slowly across a twig on the face of the rock, carrying it! The story doesn't end there. Brenda's father is a cartoonist. When she told him the incredible story of the ant, the prayer, and the contact lens, he drew a cartoon of an ant lugging that contact lens with the caption, "Lord, I don't know why You want me to carry this thing. I can't eat it, and it's awfully heavy. But if this is what You want me to do, I'll carry it for You." I think it would do all of us some good to say, "God, I don't know why You want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it and it's awfully heavy. But, if You want me to carry it, I will." God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

Silver Lining

Ahh,what a day I had today and yesterday. My aunt just had her operation and I am the one taking care of her but no big deal it is an easy job to do.The weather is not cooperating,it is too cold for this past few days which I do hate but no matter how much I whine about it,it makes no difference so I better shut my mouth up and deal with it. Also it is a sad day for me cause two of my online friends just had an argument,I hoped and wished that they will resolve their differences in due time.I just hope though but if they will stop being a friend at least they will talk and leave each other in peace. But aside from those dramas in life,a long time friend of mine, sent me a birthday card with a funny message on it and it made me smile and I know that in this crazy world,I have someone I can call a very best friend of mine. She is my highschool buddy,we been through alot together and we fought and made up.I guess that is what made us realized that we are friends for life no matter how far we are from each other. She is in New Zealand right now but everytime we chat,it seems that she is just there infront of me.Funny but true.I miss you dear.Hope to see you soon. Her msg said:"Wag kang mag-alala kung patanda ka na,at least you can always say.... I'm older but I Am Richer!Eto pa,you can always use this line kahit gasgas na....I AM AGING SEXILLY AND GRACEFULLY!!!(Linyang pang gurang nuh?:))at wag sabihin ang totoong edad!!(E,di NANLOKO ka pa,ok lang yan kaarawan mo naman kaya safe ka.) MALIGAYANG KAARAWAN MAhal kong KAIBIGAn(sip-sip nuh?!)
